To our Friends and Customers~
The response to our new venture has been overwhelmingly positive, and we thank you for making the Miller’s Table at Maine Grains your destination gathering place. Our courtyard garden seating, the community “Miller’s” table, and cozy dining room inside the former garage bay of the renovated Somerset County Jail-turned- organic gristmill is one-of-kind.
The Miller’s Table is available for private bookings, special events and fundraisers. Our popular Pizza with a Purpose is a collaboration between our cafe and local non-profit organizations looking to raise funds. We will donate $5 from the sale of every 16″ wood-fired pizza to the cause. Available for booking on Thursday evenings year round.
And, contact us at (207) 612-5322 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and to book special events.
The Miller’s Table at Maine Grains is a farm-to-table cafe celebrating cultural cuisine, influenced by our location on the “Old Canada Road”. Located in Skowhegan’s Maine Grains gristmill, we showcase the all-natural and certified-organic grains milled onsite in our pizza dough, polenta, pasta, grain bowls, baked donuts, craft beer and spirits and more. Maine Grains is sold to artisan bakeries, breweries, chefs, and home bakers throughout the northeast.
We believe in scratch cooking using the freshest ingredients from our local farmers. Whether it’s a simple, quick breakfast, a wood-fired pizza, or an evening meal, we believe the best food is made from whole foods gathered in the peak of the season when they are most flavorful. Whenever we can, we source ingredients close to home. In all we do, we strive to promote a healthy vibrant community and memorable meals.
In 2018, we have been honored to have the support of the Farm Truck Foundation and its founding chef, Walter Loeman, to work on rural restaurant development with community-building and sourcing from local farms as a central focus of our success.
Pair your visit to the Miller’s Table with a tour of the gristmill onsite. You can check out Maine Grains tour schedule here.
